MEET THE CHEF: JUAN
Welcome to Valencia Supper Club, where we bring the authentic flavours of Valencia straight to your table, with the iconic Paella at the heart of every dish.
Born in the vibrant region of Valencia but raised in England, my journey into the world of cooking started on my grandmother’s orange farm, nestled on the outskirts of Valencia. It was there, surrounded by the land’s beauty and tradition, that I fell in love with the rich flavours of authentic Paella—rabbit, snails, and all. Cooking Spanish dishes, especially Paella, became a passion I loved sharing with friends and family. As my 50th birthday approached, I realised it was time to turn my passion into something bigger.
In collaboration with my friend Xavi from Paella Shack, we launched Paella Shack at the Beaconsfield Market, quickly building a loyal customer base. It became clear that I wanted to take this business to the next level, so Valencia Supper Club was born in 2020. From our roots at Beaconsfield Market to our hugely successful Saturday pop-ups at Emmetts Farm in Little Marlow, we built something truly special, sharing the flavours and traditions of Valencia.
Operating from home in Wooburn Green, we began catering a variety of events – from weddings and anniversaries to birthday parties, corporate events, and street food gigs. We also partnered with local pubs and restaurants, offering our Paella as a unique ‘pop-up’ experience. Our Paella-in-a-Pan delivery and collection service became an instant hit, and demand quickly outpaced what I could manage from my residential kitchen. It was clear - it was time to find a dedicated Paella HQ.
In December 2024, we made that dream a reality, moving into our new home on Boston Drive, opposite Bourne End train station. This new space allows us to serve our loyal customers whilst welcoming new faces and expanding our offerings. We’re excited to introduce Paella classes and other foodie events, so you can experience the magic of Valencia firsthand.

We ordered Paella for 16 people from Juan on Easter Sunday. The whole process of ordering and collecting was extremely easy and the food was absolutely fantastic, everyone commented on how good it was and as hosts it was a very easy option for us. We would definitely do this again and would love to try the different varieties.

I used Valencia Supper Club at an event which was perfect! The food was amazing, the team great and the event a huge success. I have since used them for a dinner party!
